admin access but files locked

hi

does anyone know that even thou i have admin auth on my pc i can not see the other admin users files. if i try to open them it says it is locked, i assumed admin could see anything on pc.

also is it possible to remove user account password i know you can do this in user accounts but can you put same password back again

I have just tried it and could open the other administrators documents. I must therefore presume that the file you are referring to is encrypted.

hi it doesn't appear to be encrypted just says it is locked and i don;t have permission.

Maybe your have some sort of third party encryption software?

I believe it "might" be possible to remove user account password from user accounts and then put it back without you knowing the password. I have to research more on that...

I think you should take the ownership of the file/folder. If it says you dont have the permission. Take the ownership.
