Quick Launch small icons wanted

I like using quick launch to store a few of my more commanly used programs. However I recently had to replace my computer and when I set up quick launch all I got was large icons and I want the small ones.

Here is a pic of what I have, how do I make these icons smaller?



P.S. don't be confused by my task bar being vertical, I like it this way because I have a 20" wide screen.

Right click at an empty area in quick launch, go to View > select Small Icons.

WEll that was easy enough. I thought I had to go into task bar properties but I could never find the right setting.
