I was checking some drivers (after I updated the Intel ones I decided to check if there were new ones for the other things) and when I checked my video drivers I found this website mentioned in laptopvideo2go and I thought it may be of interest:
    http://driveragent.com

(I think it seems pretty legit and it seems to work, I'm checking some drivers from there.)

EDIT: It seems you have to pay to download things from them, but at least you can check what drivers are outdated for free, you can use it as a type of "scanner" for your drivers, and then Google the drivers yourself. If anyone knows of a website like this but that works for free I would appreciate it :P.

You might want to try driverguide.com. It's free

You might want to try Driver Detective. Unfortunately it is not free but charges a nominal fee when joining, for years of access. I use it on a regular basis to keep my drivers up to date and up to now have had no problems.
If you decide to give it a go just type Drive Detective into your search engine.

I go the official website of the manufacturer to download the required and latest drivers. I think with the downlaod from there it will for me around 2 - 3 years that enough.

It is ok to go to the manufacturers web site to download driver updates, which I have done myself in the past, as long as you know what you are doing. Driver Detective is just a good, quick alternative to advise you if there are updated drivers available for download.
