How do you you delete a file on desktop but is being used by explorer

Please help, i was going to download a file to desktop but i stopped when i realized the file size. I tried using unlocker but it stops windows explorer. Please help :D

Have you tried deleting it in safe mode? This would help.

Can you "unlock" the file that's attached to explorer.exe?

I tried i think windows explorer just locks it instantly again.

i looked at it using cygnus hex editor and it has no data it's just sitting there

I tried copying data from another file to it but when i saved it. it said there was a "sharing violation"

Try unlocking the file with fileASSASSIN, then try to delete.

try remove on reboot , http://www.snapfiles.com/get/removereboot.html ,should delete the file on next reboot :), u gunna have to reboot u pc sooner or later
