Why are there links in many words?

Whenever I post a question in this website I find links to other websites in the words of my question and even I find links in the answers to other website for example if I type a word CD-RW I find a link to some site which has someting to do with cd drives or sometimes not:lol:

When you're used to this site's design, you don't even notice the ads. Your eyes automatically skips it.

if you have Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 it blocks them because it blocks banner ads
