Hello everyone ,
i about everything i need using a torrent but from the past 2 days i am noticing a strange problem.
i use bitcomet , a day before yesterday i was to download an app sizing 667 MB, i usually set my computer for downloading at night and i have the thing downloaded in morning but this time 12 MB of the app was left i was surprised to see that for 667 MB torrent downloaded a whooping 5 GB at average 0f 150 kBps but as of original file 12 MB was left. so how can i know what 4.5 GB was additionally downloaded by the torrent.
the next day i set it to download a 3 GB file it downloaded normally but the downloaded file was corrupt so i run a manual hash check and started downloading from 99.5% but after waiting for 1 hour it was at 99.8%, download speed was constant 60-70 KBps but no progress it was stuck at 99.8%. so hat was being downloaded and how to solve this.
Thanks in advance.

I've heard about this issue before. My guess is someone, a seeder, is uploading crap to the peers. Maybe cheating upload ratio.

You might try using utorrent.

I third on that, bitcomet is a greedy torrent client that doesnt care about other peers, so you might find that some trackers block ye
try utorrent, or the original bittorrent client works too
