    I am planning to upgrade my system. Curently My system has below configuration
    1) P4 - 256 MB ( DDR1 memory module, 1gb * 2slots available )
    2) CD-writer

    I'm planning to upgrade Ram to 1gb. Kindly suggest me good brand and any other thing which I need to lookin before purchasing and Good DVD writer.

    best ream ins corsair or kingston but me personally i got with cheapest

    Can you still get DDR memory? In SA you battle to get hold of it and if you do it cost about double than DDR2.

    RAM ? -Corsair/Transcend/Kingston

    DVD-Writer? -Sony,Lite-On

    DDR is costlier than DDR2.

    It's better if you buy a new PC or motherboard. :rolleyes:

    that and it was 5:30 in the morning but gotta i got to get up a little earlier so i can go over the whole board for im gone all day
