When I try to download something,internet explorer freezes.I don`t now what is the problem.Please help!

if firefox still doesn't work use opera but firefox should work because it is awesome!!!!

I used Asmw PC Optimizer to tweak internet settings.I don`t think instaling Firefox is the right thing to do.

Installing Firefox IS the right thing to do.
For IE problem, try disabling some plugins & BHOs.

I cant reinstall IE7 because a didn`t use upgrade,windows installed IE7,and downloading isn`t working.I tried disabling ALL plugins and some BHOs but the problem still persists!I don`t now what more to do.

which OS? XP SP3 or Vista? have you tried uninstalling IE7 ?

hey what i did when i needed to reinstall internet explorer 7 i downloaded the google enhanced version and disabled the google toolbar download page: www.google.com/toolbar/ie7/

Internet Explorer Sucks!!!! GO Firefox 3 :)
Coming back to the topic, Try starting IE in Safe Mode (without addons) and Uninstall all the useless toolbars (Yahoo + Ask + Megaupload+blah blah blah) and Scan your PC with an Antivirus. :)

I can't stand Internet Explorer but sometimes you need use it, when i do need to use it i realise how much slower it is at loading itself and pages
