After reading a article about orbit or similar applcn in blog i tried to download
all songs from http://www.KannadaAudio.com/Songs using offline browser..
but the songs are stored in http://www.KannadaAudio.com:80/Songs..
if i add this link to the application it redirects to http://www.KannadaAudio.com/Songs
so i have 2 doubts now ... what is the difference btw http://www.KannadaAudio.com:80/Songs
    and http://www.KannadaAudio.com/Songs links..
and i came to know that the songs are stored in http://www.KannadaAudio.com:80/Songs by when i was trying to download this song http://www.kannadaaudio.com/Songs/Classical/ADhrupadRecital/ADhrupadRecital-02.ram it started playing thru online when i disconnect the router ..the songs stoped playing..after that i opened the file with note pad and i got this link http://www.KannadaAudio.com:80/Songs/Classical/ADhrupadRecital/ADhrupadRecital-02.rm...so there are 1000's of songs and i cannot listen them online..so it is diffcult to open all the files with notepad and collecting the links and adding it to IDM..so i used orbit etc ..but it redirects to http://www.KannadaAudio.com/Songs/Classical/ADhrupadRecital/ADhrupadRecital-02.rm
    so wat to do now
    please please help me

even i use that site - i usually don't listen to kannada songs but i do it for my friends.
so i have been using a tool to record the streaming real media. it's a great tool.
all you have to do is paste the Kannadaaudio links (with extension .ram) of songs in it, it'll record the streaming audio. and you must have real player installed as it uses real player plugins.
    http://r7cproj.euro.ru/indexe.htm

if you have some specific codecs installed, you can save it as mp3 or else save it as wav & convert it into mp3 using any free software.

If you use IDM, there is an Option called 'Site Grabber' (or simply Grabbar) in the IDM Window. Run the site grabber by entering the URL and it will download all the specified files by extensions specicified . :)

LOL if you have a links with extension.ram why do you want to paste it in that application... I can directly paste it to browser and download... the main problem is I need more than 1000 songs.. I am lazy to copy and paste all the links... any way thx for reply...

:o wat ??? '.ram' is a real media streaming extension and pasting it in browser & downloading it will NOT download the song. it will just download the song link lol. if you open it with real player, you'll get the song streamed.

And there is no way that you can download all 1000 songs as there is no directory listing as such at that site.

u7c software is to record that (.ram) stream & direct download is NOT possible.

hey ... open the .ram extension file with note pad...you will get the original link...past it in browser...and see wat happens...
Edit : since you are ..I will explain... go to kannadaaudio.com thrugh mozilla...click on any song and save it to disk...and open the saved file with note pad...copy the link and delete the saved file..
paste the copied link in mozilla... again save it to disk..you will get the original song...and it is not streamed ..to confirm ..disconnect the modem or router...and play it...dont comment untill you do this
