    every time i go to my computer or my documents in my computer, and i try to click and open a file a box will come up saying

    Critical Error!
    Attention, USER! Some dangerous viruses detected in your system. Microsoft Windows XP files corrupted.
    This may lead to destruction of important files in C:/WINDOWS. Download protection software now!

    Click OK to download the antispyware. (Recommended)

    raymond pls help me! i have scanned my computer with kaspersky but it still is the same!! pls help me!

    Download avg 8 and scan the system fully....don click and try to download that anti spyware...u can try spybot too get rid of the spyware,it does a good job as well.No legitimate antispyware would first send u a spyware somehow then advertise the solution for the same this way...

    ps: just a guess,it could be possible that u downloaded some software from spam thinkin to be a useful tool...i had done that once :) had some trouble too :)

    u have been infected possibly by a trojan agent that showing up fake warnings or by a rogue apps!

    - Update ur KAV ~ Fullscan ( Configure to highest settings )

    - Supplement ur KAv with Spybot S&D 1.6/ Ad-aware 2008 free or trial / Spyware Doctor Starter Edtion 6

    Be Sure to update them all first then full scan - one by one see the result

    hey and also if u can open the task manager check out all the processes running in ur username,if u find any suspicious process end process it and remove it from start up as well by typin msconfig in run( this is if its not letting install any antivirus software) u could also use remove restriction tool(rrt) to recover task manager at times if its disabled.

    i am an amateur myself u could try all this if u have not,the guys here can definitely help u beyond this :)

    i think its spyware, sounds like vundo or possible winantivrius ,top two apps are superanityspyware and spyware doctor ,both can be downloaded and both offer free versions
    Out of my mind. I Haven't Lost My Mind, It's Backed Up On Disk Somewhere.

    i checked my processes. i know all my normal processes by hard but noting out of ordinary is there!

    well try using process explorer. and see some processor are hidden and confusing just like
    "lsass" which is a system process. but another virus is there just like "isass". its just the change of l I.
    anyway kaspersky should detect it. it must be a spyware or adware.

    Try Ashampoo Antispyware and RemoveIt pro. I have been rescued on numerous occasion.
