Powerful Video Converter NEEDED

I am looking for a powerful and fast video converter. I have many VOB files that I have to converter to AVI an I use Total Video Converter but the problem is that TVC does not converter some files.

If you know any good video converter that is able to converter VOB files to AVI without any error.

Yes Xilisoft is good. Xilisoft DVD Ripper Ultimate 5 (shareware) helped me a lot.

I think all of us need a good article (comparison) on video converters from Raymond as it's a common question to all that what suits the best for which work.

And for those who are looking for a video cutting software which cuts very fast without video quality loss, I would suggest Boilsoft Video Splitter (shareware) which I came across recently and I was surprised that it did cut videos quite fast.
