    hi guys how everything? i like to ask for a help coz i newly formatted my laptop vista home edition fully license with the recovery cd came with it then after installing some programs that i need i encounter some virus coz all of my program is pirated only the windows is genuine, then suddenly when i click windows update theres an error that does not happend before, what do you think is the coz of that? maybe the pirated programs that i installed? and one more thing my cpu is running wild coz i observe it when iam not using it my cpu meter is still rising up i thougth that something is running on my background but i dont know what? maybe you can help me.

    Pirated software won't cause genuine Windows unable to update. Is there any screenshot or error message you can provide us?

    I agree with Raymond. Pirated software (except Windows :D)will not interfere with Windows Update.
    PLease tell us what Error Code are you getting while updating your Vista. It may be a network problem (like using Proxy server) or any other.

    From the Screenshot, we cannot see what Error Code is that :(. Please Post Full Sized or Bigger Screenshots.
