dvd decoder

hi guys, do you happend to know a freeware or shareware dvd decoder? coz i cant watch dvd movies to my brandnew nec 3650 dvd rw? i tried looking in the net but cant find one can you direct me to one thats really good?

try watching via power dvd ,dunt know if its free its probably not but u can use power dvd codecs
