It gives me a message asking for updating and to download malware removal database. Though its up to date, i updated it its says its up to date but the message dont gets removed. And I m unable to start it.
I m owning a free license of it.

It might be corrupted due to many reasons. Try Re-installing PC Tools Internet Security.

I also got rid of this program after it was arguing with SpySweeper, or at least SpySweeper argued with it. I haven't had probs since.

PCtools Spyware Doctor hangs my Laptop. I have Vista Home Premium and now I revomed it. I had no problem with Webroot spy sweeper.
Their products are not useful as it was before.
With 2.5 GB of RAM this program hangs my Laptop.My right to post information is protected under the constitutional rights for freedom.
