help: prob xp with NTFS
i have just installed xp but its in ntfs format earlier i used to use fat format.
now after this installation i am facing a strange problem, everytime i try to install any software it tells me that it has not passed windows logo or something like that and i have to click continue, although this prob is not much but the second thing that occured is that everytime i connect any flash drive it asks me for the drivers and i have to install the drivers everytime i connect the flash drive. is this problem due to the NTFS format or something else.

Very unlikely to be related to NTFS.
Does the "Windows logo" appear for all software installations ?

Can you confirm that because that warning comes only when installing softwares that come bundled with some drivers that has not passed "Windows Hardware Quality Labs" program (WHQL).
Get C Cleaner and install it. This is just to test. See whether that message appears during installation.
