firefox screwed on boot

K this is a relatively new comp in vista.

So I boot up and I go though the normal routine... then i go to firefox and all my book marks are GONE!!! I have all my addons but their settings got reset. I think this might be from my ccleaner prog... How Do I restore my bookmarks?? and how do I get back the latest headlines bookmark that comes with firefox...

That latest headlines is from BBC News. You can subscribe for their feeds from their site.

And search your computer for .json files extensions. FF might have automatically made a backup of bookmarks.

If you found no .json files - then use any recovery programs to recover deleted .json files

And during reinstalling Windows, twice I had forgotten to backup bookmarks. Even since then, I make backup regularly. Bookmarks are very precious.

thanks i just have to manually find all my lost bookmarks by going to the websites!
