should i shift to vista??
i have just bought a new pc and i am using xp in it, i decided to choose xp cause i thought sp is faster than vista but my friend has a laptop which has vista installed in it and i was amazed to see its speed.
does vista perform faster processing, he is having core 2 duo i am having quad.
So i ask you guys if you want the speed then which operating system would you prefer me??

Speed mainly depends on your Processor and RAM. What are the specifications of your pc?

If yours is Quad Core, Vista should fly for you.
Install Vista and look at the Windows Experience Rating. If it's more than 3, then it's good and fast

I have Vista on my new lappie but haven't really use it 24/7 yet... So far I've only seen 2 problems.
Nero Vision crashing and my DVD automatically goes missing in My Computer!
WTF?!??

Duh~ Yeah I guess that'd fix the problem because I removed NTI software.

Vista will run awfully fast on a Quad Core Processor. Also, you need to have at least 2GB RAM for Windows Aero.
