    help in creating a website

    i am creating a website i am wondering is it possible to hide the download link if so could you tell me how to the hide the link also need help in creating a image gallery

    okay domma when you create a site and have a file for people to download you don't have to make it so people see the link but if you where to view it in directory listing you will have to password protect the dir so people can't see anything. and i'm going to send you a link to download PVII gallery magic, but you must have Adobe Fireworks installed for this Dreamweaver addon to work
    i won't send you it unless you tell me that you have Fireworks because i don't want to upload a file for nothing.

    how would i hide the download link from external website also i have fireworks installed and dreamweaver

    so if someone links to your file. well i think that is impossible. okay i'll upload PVII gallery magic. you can make some great looking picture galleries.

    Sorry mate but because i couldn't find the addon i was going to archive all the things for PVII but that is 15mb even when archived so i will have to upload it to rapidshare later.

    @domma - do you mean the url in the status bar



    If so, you can hide that with javascript:
    Code:
    <a href="www.google.com" onMouseOver="window.status=''; return true;">Google</a>
    Change the text in red

    Also, why dont you download it and then upload it to your server or download it then upload it to rapidshare or summin..?

    @brayden i just downloaded PVII gallery magic and other plugins from a website thanks brayden and mark
    i am also looking to put advertisements on my website what advertiser should i go with i dont wont to go with google adsense and zango or any other advertisers that doesnt allow certain content so what advertiser should i go just remember it has have good payout. Also having trouble with my gallery it looks good in firefox but not in internet explorer the text gets displayed to the below to right of the image instead of jut below of the image how could i get it to look like in firefox i just use added a table manually added images.
