ThreatFire 4 and Online Armor 3
Is it recommend having both ThreatFire 4 and Online Armor 3 installed?
I do have both of them installed for about a week now. I have not noticed any conflicts. But I was thinking that it might not be safe having both of them installed because ThreatFire 4 and Online Armor 3 have "HIPS" protection.
my computer info...
system: Microsoft windows xp, home edition, version 2002, sp3
pentium 4, 448 mb ram
Thank You!

I'd prefer to go with an antivirus + threatfire. Very rarely we have hackers hacking in desktop computers because there are nothing valuable for them unlike what is in a server.
If there are undetectable remote administration tool, threatfire is there to detect and stop it.

thank you for your replies.
If the "HIPS" protection is disabled on Online Armor 3...
Does anyone know if the "Run Safer" option for programs will work?
And will the "Program Guard" and "firewall" protection of Online Armor 3 not work as good?
Because what I am thinking is the "HIPS" protection of ThreatFire 4 is what will be doing the protection... while Online Armor 3 will be doing the protection that a firewall does... just without the "HIPS" protection. (Is this correct or am I missing something?)

As far as I know, Online Armor is rated as one of the best firewalls. Since you need a firewall and HIPS, why not just use Online Armor alone?
