    how to low level format hard disk??..help..

    please someone help. or give me guide how to low level format hard disk..
    because my hard disk has been infected with virus. ive reformat it many times and its still there. then i research about formatting. then i know this low level format. but i cannot seem to find some simplify guides on how to do it so..

    T_T please help.!!

    You don't need low level format to remove virus from your computer.
    It's either in your hard drive, boot sector or your external USB device such as pendrive / external hard drive.

    I'd suggest you to burn a copy of Kaspersky Rescue CD, boot it up on your computer with the CD, update it and full scan your computer.

    Download Hiren Boot CD and Boot the CD, there is Low Level Formatter for most of the HDD. Be aware that Low Level Format will take Hours to complete, so be sure that you are prepare for that.

    There is a freeware available from Hddguru

    Download from here

    There are many software just read them carefully, there are GUI versions directly executable from Windows.

    from dos download the hdd utility from the hdd manufactures web site ,download either floppy maker or iso ,but as ray says u dont need to format to remove it!
