you can use Virtual Box for running OSs in a virtual environment. you can install linux with virtual box but i'm not 100% sure for Mac OSX because it only meant to work on Apple computers.

MAC OS X does work on normal PCS. you have to hack and tweak it though. Google it. It's illegal and I don't think this forum allows it. It's emulating the OS not exactly running it as it was based for Apple machines and not others.

long time ago there was Pear Pc who could handle Mac Os. Now nothing. I think it's possible to use VMware, but indeed with a hacked version. But if I were you i'd skip mac os. Nothing to do there. Only thing i like in it is Final Cut Studio.

Mac OS X doesn't work with normal PCs. Many tweaked versions of OS X named iDeneb, iAtkos, etc, commonly called Hackintosh are available on the Internet. These can be used on VirtualBox or installed directly from DVD.

I like it. It has a ton of options, a lot of templates, effects. It is kinda huge if you install it all (~60gb). But if I have to do a video edit that's what i use.

But it is so complex and easy to get lost in. I don't edit videos often though.

I know it looks complicated. It is. But I can't find anything that can hold a candle to Final Cut on Windows.
