usb pendrive prob

Hi i have a prob i have some files on my usb.i was trying to open it.but i cant cz it is saying format usb?yes or no and i cant open it to take some files.plz is theur a way to open the usb without formating it?and take the needed files.thanks anyways

Try F:\ in Run Command to open.
Where F is pen drive location.

If it doesn't work then try using pen drive on other computer and u will know it is corrupt or not,if not then format .

you may need to scan your PC for viruses. if no viruses found please post a HijackThis report.

try badcopy to recover the files and then format http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/download.asp

or right click the pen drive and select properties click tools tab select error check and tick both boxes and then click start

The best is to try your USB flash drive on another computer. If you get the same error message, then probably your flash drive is corrupted. You can however try to recover your data with data recovery software.
