lost windows xp password

In a thread back in 2006 about "how to Hack..." the author ( raymond ) ( To find the post search google on "find windows xp password" and look for the raymond.cc reference. In this post raymond explained the use of "dreamplay" for finding passwords. At the end it was indicated that he could not get to it the first time because of running antivirus. I had the same issue in an XP situation. (After putting dreamon in the pw box, I was told that access was denied to sfcfiles.dll and a runddll box was present )How did he get around this back then and what should I do now?

Unfortunately there is no way to get around that unless I disabled the antivirus.
Well maybe there are, like booting up in Recovery Console and deleting the antivirus folder from Program Files. This "might" work but it is possible that you will be getting blue screen.
