No xp pro disc and lost admin password

I was given a desktop computer with windows xp pro sp2. I forgot the password that he told me and I tried to do some of the things, but i don't have the disk to do it in repair. I have a 8gb usb drive and my only computer access is at the library and i downloaded NT/Password disk but can't put on floppy because the library has a block on it. I have a dell laptop but does not have a floppy drive. i do have a copy of windows 2000 professional but can't use that. can somebody help me please help me?

Perhaps you can reformat it? Get hold of a Windows XP cd. Put into your cd-rom drive. Shut down the computer. Turn it back on. Press F8. It varies with different computer. Mine is F8. It will take you into setup mode. Press F8 again until you get a blue screen. Follow the instructions. Wola, computer is reformatted. but in the process, you will probably lose the sound setting as I lost mine until I send it to the shop to settle for me. It doesn't matter if your XP is pirated or original. Janji (promise) can work.

But you need a key to activate your Windows XP. Sorry if it cannot work. I will not pretend I am computer expert because I am not. Whenever my computer knock some problem up which I cannot settle, I get so upset and I take the easy way out by reformatting. Maybe it can work as reformatting tends to make your computer whole again. Hope I helped.

Again, I would try downloading and burning the ophcrack live cd, and boot from it. Ive used it countless times and consider it to be one of the most powerful pieces in my disk arsenal.
It has been mentioned here on numerous threads and Ray has gone over it before on the blog.

Its as easy as download, burn and boot. It should be able to recover your passwords in less than 10 minutes.

Find a friend who has a floppy. Go to www.loginrecovery.com and follow the instructions.

You can use rescue discs such as hiren's rescue disc, pclogin now etc. But as you said you have forgot the password told by the service centre you can ask the password from them instead of trying to reset it.
