    backing up for xp pro

okay as flashing as vista is too many bugs so i am going to PRo. I have lil faith ih HP yech support since i asked him to help me lighten up vista and my pc "blue screened". They told me that if i burn the recovery console to dvd then i can return back to vista later is this true. Also i was told that this version of vista was CUSTOM made fo this pc so i will no t have al the drivers i need in PRO. All i want is to replace vista with Pro and then reinstall everything else as i had it, prograams movies settings etc any suggestions or comments on this.i have a feeling they are just trying to get me to keep vista. But it is such a hog out o3 3 gig i have 1 gig left to do things not to mention the frequent program crashes.i want to keep WMC a few of the programs that came with and my finger sprint scanner but would like an easy install of Pro then opo in the "programs and settings cd to get up and running . Anyone tried this and is it worth it

First of all, Why dont you indent your sentences so that we can understand what you write?

And as far as the removing of vista and installing of xp is concerned, Just forget Vista and put xp.

Final thing. You will be able to find the drivers for your hardware easily on the net.

Vista doesn't have many bugs. I haven't had any BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) problems. I haven't had any trouble running programs. Just make sure you have service pack 1 installed.
But if you really want XP Pro just search your model number of your HP computer in Google and find the HP details for it. Often they will only have drivers for windows vista but you can get a XP driver from the software maker if you just search google for it. I did that for my brother and it is working out fine.
But you might find XP drivers for your HP computer. My HP laptop has XP drivers for it although it came with vista home premium.

I suffered through too many BSOD problems while i was in hands with vista. there were many bugs and every program was lagging. It is strange that Brayden is now supporting Vista.

I got vista on my laptop. Never had trouble. And i got myself a genuine vista ultimate key so i downloaded that and upgraded my laptop. I honestly don't know how you have problems. It is designed for Next gen hardware so it runs better than XP ever did on a new computer.

Although i did have trouble trying to network it up. And stupid HP support center said that it can run with 512kbs of ram! lol. stupid typo.

maybe yes. maybe no. iam also a fan of hp thingy but looking for a great, nice specs and the durability of the laptop though it maybe a little expensive, as for my experince, i try that before on acer laptop but not on hp, the MBR got mess up big and cannot use the f10 key so as i think if you change it to PRO it will also destroy your MBR and you wil not have an option to use the f11 key, but i guess you can revert it by using recovery disk that you gonna create. but not the MBR thing

Why not go into school and check the hard drive case. There should be sticker with a key on which you can steal
