Firefox(too slow with java)

I have a problem that the firefox is too slow when i try to open an application on facebook.....why???
i used to speed it up....and it was working good...but dnt know what happened...i need some help thx

What application on facebook?

Try the application on another browser such as IE, Opera, Safari and see if it's slow there.

If it isnt, try reinstalling a fresh copy of FF

Some java app tends to make the web browser slow. Does it happen all the time on all Java?
