How can i know motherboard model number in xp?
How can i know motherboard model number in Windows XP without the help of any third party tool or website
Save Trees. Print only when necessary

go to start> run> type"dxdiag"without qoutes>ok.
>system tab, you will get all your system details there.
also try command prompt and type systeminfo.exe

no both method doesn't shows motherboard info.
I know many third party tool. but i want to help a friend in other city and he doesn't have a net connection.

But in my system, it shows all the data. i.e the manufacturer and the model.
May be you need to download some programs for viewing the model.
Try
Belarc Advisor
or
Lavalys Everest
Belarc gives you detailed information of your computer, including the securtiy settings, ms updates, hardwares connected and etc.
Lavalys is also good, but it is paid. Belarc is better.
EDIT::: Ask your friend to do the dxdiag and the systeminfo.exe . May be he'll get it. As i got it on my computer.
