can anyone help me
when i press ctrl+alt+del,then
THE TASK MANAGER HAS BEEN DISABLED
appears and computer gets restarted automatically
help me out to get rid of this problem

That would be the sign of a very nasty virus if it's locking you out...
or a reduced account. But I assume it's the former of the two.
Try going to Start> Run> and Enter taskmgr.exe

hey as soon as i did that my computer get restarted by saying
the task manager has been disabled by your computer
got any other way?

# Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
# In the Group Policy settings window
* Select User Configuration
* Select Administrative Templates
* Select System
* Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
* Select Enable Task Manager

neither msconfig nor regedit is accepted
it gets restarted by saying the same problem
'the task manager has been disabled by computer'
also i've already tried the process mentioned above
but also there is no improvement

Run a Spybot Search and Destroy scan, or better still, download one of the LiveCDs Raymond posted (the Kasprasky one seems to work the best) and scan for viruses. If it detects any, delete them. Then try my early tricks.

Download Remove Restrictions Tool (RRT) from here and use it to enable all the disabled Windows components.

He might still need to scan for Virii.

It is just that the administrator of the computer has restricted some widnows components.
We need to scan everytime we find any problem.

check this .reg key out. it is supposed to enable windows task manager.

even though regedit is disabled it wont' matter.
this is only for windows xp though
