Based on my test this is as easy as using PhotoPerfect Express but has better controls / set of options.

Literally a convenient and a slim version of the other product Lightzone ( Comparable to Photoshop LR,Nikon FX & Aperture.)

I forgot all about Google Picasa, I used to use that yearssssss ago, it's actually not bad and you are right, if you combine it with the Photo perfect express you could the same functionality. But Photo Perfect Express is so limited. I have been using Photoshop since CS came out and now have CS4 and only use it when I have to do adjustments that Lightroom won't let me. I will use the Aurora specifically for uploading to Facebook -

Aurora seems to be having a problem gathering sets in Flickr so I am not even going to try to upload there.

Oh and Photo perfect express isn't even worth $49 they want you to pay just to remove the watermark! that is OUTRAGEOUS!

Google Picasa is well improved now. Picasa has borrowed some technology from the makers of LR.

Anyway there's alot of freeware alternatives to Aurora though I find it easy to use I'll just keep it as my back-up app. I'm Photoshop user too both CS4 and Lr.
