    True Paul but i was thinking i could replace the old red box, with the TARDIS, as i liked the background and thought that it would look great. pity we have to wait for the new season but worth the wait for the quality..

    Sorry to bump this thread but I was trying out, and I got stuck at the 1st step.

    Now go to Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation and give the desert image a reddish colour.
    I am stuck because if I change the colour of the sky, the colour of the ground changes. How to prevent the colour of the ground from changing? I am a total noob in photoshop.

    make a seperate layer for sky and ground , select either sky or ground and press ctrl +j or cut via layer , then try to change the color it will work .
