i would like to know how Paul got his home banned from google street view on a serious note this can look like an intrusion as the level of detail is more than im comfortable with, i don't want to see the weeds in the lawn..

In seriousness, they had a way to censor the houses a while back to opt out and my family did that.

"House ban" - Does this mean you can ban the viewing of you house from Google? Seems a bit much. Go looking for an address and can't get it. So change the address by a couple of numbers and then you see a white out space. Is that how it is done? This is the first time I've looked at Google Street view and that was an "honest-to-goodness" question.

So does the ban also affect Google Earth? That is the one I look at before even thinking about anything else. Now I have to think about Google Street view. Should be interesting.
