that sucks you can't change aperture, but good you are going to buy a DSLR, great choice. And which Nikon will you be getting? My first DSLR was a Nikon D50-then when I worked as a professional portrait photographer for a company in Utah all they used was Canons, so I fell in love with Canons, lol...and now I use the Canon Digital Rebel Xti - also recently bought myself the discontinued F1.8 EF II lens from Canon, less than $100 and it's such a great lens!!

wow ! Canon lover haha .
Well D40 and D60 are too small in my hand (just like point and shoot) lol anyway since I'm already accustomed to Canon T70 ,so I'm eyeing either D90 or D300 I love heavy cameras lol.

do you put your pictures online anywhere? I'd love to see em
Mountains are so majestic. When I lived in Utah, back here in the States it was just so much fun. Take a 4WD all the way up and look out below to the valley, go hiking and just enjoy the nice cool weather up top. I now live where it's swampy and yucky with gators. *sigh*
