Well, aesthetically - your image is what it is. A picture of ants. Although - I do not know what your real intentions for taking it was. Perhaps next time you take a picture - try dissolving out what you think isn't interesting. Then concentrate on what will make the image. So, your ants is what makes the image. See how close you can get to the ants or try to photograph them in another way. Say, looking at them from the ground up. - meaning, get down low. Do you have any other images you can show? Something like the sky, sunset, landscape, water, still life or other animals?
I am by no means a PROFESSIONAL photographer. I would call myself more of an "intermediate mediocre professional photographer"....lol.

I will tell you what every photographer tells every other photographer out there. Get your butt out there and shoot some photos! No matter where you are. Look low, look high, look above and beyond. There's going to be something.![]()

Here`s my efforts.
The lightning shots are taken from the deck at my house, the two similar ones are taken 3 mins apart, the Lion is at Cairns, and the Jetty at Shorncliffe, Steam Train at Imbil.
