how to lock external H.D.D ?

HELLO there
im looking for an idea to lock external hdd partition ??

i tried :
1- StorageCrypt v3.0
2- folder lock
3- WinGuard Pro 2008

but all of them didnt make what i want.

so i want any idea to lock my external hdd or flash memory by pass then when i plug it to other pc or laptop it will not work with out password.

I've never used TrueCrypt but I think it has a feature to encrypt the whole partition. Best part is it's free!

TrueCrypt will indeed encrypt an entire flash drive (or any other device you want it to). It is the defacto free encryption utility, and is better than many of the expensive alternatives.

I am using SafeHouse(FreeVersion) Explorer. It is also like as TrueCrypt you can try out this. You can use this as portable version as well. Just copy main exe file from installation folder and put in your USB stick.
