Can anyone plzz guide me to a freeware tool with which i can get information on various hardware installed on my pc eg motherboard details like how many and what ports it has, regarding hard disk like how many cylinders,heads, it has.

One last query in this regard can u ppl or any body can guide me to a place where i can find details of everything which i want to purchase(computer hardware) like details of the motherboard, hard disk, processor. when i say details, friends i mean details in depth, like no of heads of hdd, ports on the motherboard, memory on graphics card etc. I'm sure u ppl out there will definately help me. REGARDS to u all.

The best to look for all the information you want is from the manufacturer's website.
For example, if you want to buy an ASUS motherboard, go to ASUS official website.
