    Wireless works/ Wired doesnt :(

    Hi Everyone,

I seem to have a very weird problem. I was using my PC last night running Vista and connected to the router through a LAN, then all of a sudden my internet has been disconnected and not been able to reconnect.

I connected my laptop running XP and the wireless connection works perfectly but when I connect the Ethernet cord there is no LAN connection.

I tried turning off the router and turning it back on and having the same problem.

Now I cant use my PC for getting online anymore

Does anyhow have any idea why this is happening.

    I'm using a Linksys router.

    Thanks
    trini

Is the cable properly connected? Does Window says "is now connected" or does it say "network cable has been unplugged"? Check your network card and see if there's light?
