    Intel E7500 actual speed

Hello everyone,I'm newbie here.I hope this is the right section to tell my problem.

Yesterday I bought a new motherboard from Gigabyte. It's EP45-UD3L.As topic says,E7500 clock speed is 2.93Ghz as you all know. But when I checked it at My Computer properties',it actually uses 2.13Ghz instead. So I was wondering, how to solve this matter?I mean,to get it to use fully 2.93Ghz of the clock speed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. =)

My first thought is does your front side bus to both of them match? If not, that will make an impact.

That's weird. You can try to reset your BIOS to the default settings and see if that works.

Yes,they matched. The motherboard supports up to 1333 FSB,whilst the processor is 1033 FSB.

Reset BIOS?I wonder how to do that. Oh right, removing the battery for 2 minutes will do yes?

There should be an option that says 'Reset to optimized defaults' or 'Reset to fail-safe defaults."
