Clean up surface under Laptop keyboard?

    Hello fellas!

I have a HP 530 Notebook PC and I want to clean up the surface under the keyboard buttons. Here's an image:

Is it safe to remove the buttons one by one? Do I risk to break anything?

    Screw Google! Ask me!

Why not use an air pump? Laptop keys are much sensitive than what we use for desktops.
I haven't tried to remove keys of any laptop, but used to clean it by air.

I tried but there's to much dust in there. I have to clean it with a napkin. My sister don't know how to treat computers...LOL.

I would not suggest removing laptop keys...they are much sensitive than a Desktop Keyboard.

Try cleaning using a thin paper towel...

For further use, you could cover the keys using a thin micro-film, to prevent anything from going inside.

most laptop keyboards can be removed in one piece, they will often have small push out clips around the edge that you just push in with a flat screwdriver then the whole keyboard can be lifted out, it might be glued lightly to the frame but it should come away without too much trouble just make sure you put the connector back in place if you remove it fully out of the laptop

Hi Alboguy,do not try to force the keyboard out with a screw driver as there is a very good chance that you will damage it or some other component.Keyboards are not hard to remove for cleaning but you must follow the instructions carefully to dissasamble and re-assemble everything in the right order. All you will need is a small phillips head screw driver.
Here is link as to how to do it properly.

    Hope i was of help.
