Service manual for Neo notebook

Hi. My aunt asked me to check her notebook because she said that there's no display. I connected an external monitor to the notebook and got a display in the external monitor. I put a flashlight in front of the notebook and can see the display although it's very dim. With these findings, I can conclude that it could be the backlight. The problem is I only have disassembled an Acer notebook. I am hesitant to disassemble the Neo notebook since I don't have it's service manual. Does anyone know where to look for it? I think it's Taiwan made. The closest service center needs to be travelled by plane so going there is out of the question.
