Laptop BIOS Password

Hi all
my friend bought a second hand laptop from a shop, that time it was loaded with windows xp and after few days xp is working very slow and hangs several time now we want to reinstall it but bios is set to boot from harddisk and they are locked with password, we can't open laptop because its screw is not in that condition so please suggest me any way

If you can't remove the CMOS battery or if you can't reset the BIOS via the jumper, there's nothing we can do for you. Other then that, it would be classified as hacking/cracking.
