Does my motherboard support PCI-E 2.1?

I'm planning to upgrade my video card to ATI Radeon HD 5750 which requires PCI-E 2.1.. I was wondering if my motherboard (Asrock Model: Wolfdale1333-D667) supports PCI-E 2.1? I checked their website but it only showed something like this "1 x PCI Express x16 slot" it did not mention what version is the PCI-E..

    Hi
If you open your motherboard then if its PCI-Ex 16 then will be written there.
Although you'll usually be able to use these cards in a PCI-E 1.0 or 1.1 slot, they won't perform at their full capacity. In some cases, they might not work at all. http://en.kioskea.net/contents/pc/pci-express.php3
    http://www.10stripe.com/featured/quick/pci-express-2-0.php

    http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=Wolfdale1333-D667

download pc wizzard: Run then Click the "Mainboard" icon and then "Bus PCI-Express." The program will display information about your PCI-E slot at the bottom of the screen, including its "Version." Using this, you can tell if your card is 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, or later

Well if its micro atx then there will be some difficulties to enter a big graphic card. The chipset is Intel 945GC Express / Intel ICH7. the slot is PCI-Express 1x.

PCI Express 2.1 supports a large proportion of the management, support, and troubleshooting systems planned to be fully implemented in PCI Express 3.0. But, the speed is the same as PCI Express 2.0. As PCI-E 2.1 runs at PCI 2.0 speeds [it seems] then fthat means that it should run in a PCI-1.0 slot -especially if the rumours of it working at 98% speed when CF'd on 2 PCI-Ex8 lanes is taken into account

Changes to PCI Express 2.1 Above and Beyond the PCI Express 2.0
TLP Processing Hints – Goal: improve memory latency by associating a packet with a givenprocessor cache (perhaps this is a little like processor affinity
Atomic Operations – Goal: Support SMP-type operations across a PCIe network to allow forthings like offloading tasks between CPU cores and accelerators like a GPU.
System-board eye height – Goal: decrease minimum receiver voltage from 300 to 250mV tomake it easier for systems to meet the requirements in a typical add-in card environment.

PCI-E slot is located apprx. 1 1/2" from the M/B edge and slot is apprx. 4" long including the locking tabs
AGP slot is located apprx. 2 3/8" from the M/B edge and slot is apprx. 3" long
PCI slot is also 1 1/2" in from the M/B edge but the length is 3 1/4"

I checked my motherboard details via pc wizard. Sadly I only have PCI-E v1.0
I have done a research on a discrete video card capable of high performance on PCI-E v1.0 but i am not sure about it so help me out please. The video card i am talking about is Nvidia 8800 and ATI 3870. Are those vcard for PCI-E v1.0?

the ATI 3870 is PCI-E 2.0 according to the official site, so if you can, get the 36xx series. Same goes for the NVIDIA, PCI-E 2.0, so you'd need the 8600..
