    Touchpad stopped working - help please

    Hi there,

    I have a Advent 9212 originally came with Vista Home Premium but I installed XP more than 18 months ago.

    My problem is the Touchpad has stopped working and I have had to buy a USB mouse. I have tried device manager etc but no luck.Does anyone know what I might be able to do to fix the touchpad please?

    What does it show you in Device Manager when you go to query about the touchpad?
    pacman -Syyu life not found in sync db
