SSD Heat
I was watching a video yesterday on the Corsair 600t pc case, and when they opened it up to give a better look inside, there was a solid state disc sitting outside a drive bay wired up.. does anyone know how much heat these drives generate as there is no moving mechanical parts less friction should equal minimum heat, interesting enough they had windows 7 on the SSD, made sense as it was really quickly removed and reinstalled after the upgrade..
The case is useless as far as im concerned.

SSD will produce less heat due to non-mechanical parts resulting in lower power requirements (75mW (0.075W) idle, 150mW typically under use). Your above question shows that you have searched about it already.
Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86 + KIS 2011 (11.0.2.556 b.a.c.d) + Sandboxie Paid (3.54) + Deep Freeze Standard (7.20.020.3398)

Thanks BoyFriend the SSD was an afterthought as i was looking for a decent case, to see the drive just hanging there and not in a drive bay is an added benifit, looks really promising for the future..taking out the drive with windows 7 and replacing it was just seconds.
