Asus UL50VT or Gateway NV59c06u?
I am in need or a decent laptop for uni, and I've narrowed my choices down to these 2:

or
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...?EdpNo=6587458
They are EXACTLY the same price and I'm having trouble deciding. I don't need a heavy gaming laptop, just something functional and lightweight (most heavy application ill run on there is probably word 2010, photoshop and some movie watching).
I heard Asus is the better brand, but the CPU on it is not nearly as good as the i3 on the Gateway. On the other hand i was hoping the 512 graphics on the Asus can balance that out... I don't really care about the webcam lol. Another thing is the Asus has an extremely long battery life and is lighter.
Any suggestions?

ASUS has much better reliability ratings if that sways you. http://www.pcworld.com/article/211402/reliability_and_service_laptops.html http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/17/laptop-reliability-survey-asus-and-toshiba-win-hp-fails/ A Guy

Since my recent "hassles" and constant policy changes with Gateway, I'd recommend ASUS right now.
