MSI releases low-profile N520GT-MD1GD3/LP graphics card with video-capture capabiliti

MSI has released the low-profile, GT520-based N520GT-MD1GD3/LP graphics card for entry-level gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. According to MSI, the new N520GT-MD1GD3/LP is capable of devivering "double the fun" to users due to its combination of both gamer and overclocker-friendly features.

According to the official press release issued by MSI, the N520GT-MD1GD3/LP graphics card will be bundled with the latest copy of the MSI Afterburner (version 2.1.0) overclocking software; this will reportedly allow users to tweak the performance of their graphics card to get the most out of their purchase. Also included in the software bundle is a copy of MSI's Predator, an application which allows users to easily record in-game videos. In addition, the N520GT-MD1GD3/LP's low-profile designsupposedly allows users to easily install the card into more compact chassis designs favoured by not-so-tech-savvy home users. MSI claims that such a form factor, along with the card's single-slot design will make the N520GT-MD1GD3/LP ideal for a variety of smaller PC casings where chassis and motherboard real estate is scarce.
Last but definitely not least, MSI claims that the N520GT-MD1GD3/LP is capable of supporting NVIDIA's 3DVision technology; this will allow users to enjoy 3D movie playback on their PCs fitted with the N520GT-MD1GD3/LP graphics card. Of course, you will still need a 3D-capable monitor and a compatible set of 3D glasses to fully enjoy 3D movie playback on such a PC.
