Sources indicated that Intel would only launch its 22nm Ivy Bridge CPU during the second quarter of 2012 and not first quarter as previously speculated.
Reports have indicated that Intel has talked to its partners and revealed that Ivy Bridge is to be launched during Q2 2012 instead of Q1. Consumers holding out on their purchase for Ivy Bridge may want to reconsider getting the current Sandy Bridge CPU as Q2 2012 is a long way to go (about a year from now). Otherwise, one can only hope there would be an earlier launch instead.Source: Fudzilla

although at least a year a way it's still too early to change to be honest but if it's a good chip by the time im thinking of it the prices should be worth consideration.
