Lite-On DVD writer tray stuck!

The title says it all, my dvd writers tray is stuck. I even opened the drive and fully cleaned it with 90% alcohol, but the problem still persists.
So my guestion is, should I somehow lubricate the drive? I got the drive opened once after I cleaned it and there was some scratchy noise coming from the rails. And what kind of grease should I use?

Is there any warranty left on the writer? Just returning it to the store would solve the problem. :P

You could try greasing the gears with some simple WD-40 or such, just be careful not to spill any of it on the laser diode.
