Source This is the one im thinking of Bear as it's alot cheaper than the Vertex and something OCZ brought out to make purchasing a little easier it's 120 Gb but i still need to check the Agility vs Vertex before i purchase as it has excellent read write.. and from what i have read the best way to install Windows is a clean install, which is a bit of pain but that's the overall view of many.

I also looked at the OCZ Agility series and the price for the 120 Gb SSD at New Egg is comparable to what is shown on your link. I also noticed that the difference between the 60 Gb and the 120 Gb is $50 US and I'm wondering if it would be well worth the investment. I've forgotten, which PSU did you end up buying? I've looked at Coolermaster, Antec and Corsair so far.

Oops, I read the figures for the two OCZ SSD's wrong. They are 125 dollars apart in cost. My bad!

Mine is overkill Bear and i went for the 1200 Pro gold coolermaster...the only thing i can say is it works flawless and is so quiet you would be hard pressed to know it was on apart from the obvious... it wasn't fully modular but the leads attached where needed regardless, and it came with some flat modular cables, the most noise i can hear comes from the fans and i can run them silent if i want but it is quieter than my last pc... lots for you to decide on my friend and i know you will enjoy the reviews and the build, either way it's going to be a killer PC.

I'm a terrible shopper, because I have a hard time making up my mind. It really helps to get the input from guys on the forum like yourself, who have already built their own PC.

your not on your own with this one i had the money for the 560 Ti and just went for the 570 instead, so i saved nothing at the end of the day.. mostly what i did was draw up a plan like i did with John last November and stuck to it... as i had two working PC's i could buy the parts as i wanted and there was no rush, so adding a few weeks was fine, John was very much like yourself Bear and we had the same conversations believe it or not...

Liquid cooling should only be considered if you're a) gaming, b) overclocking.

I'll read this thread better tomorrow after work, right now, I should be headed off to bed.

Any and all comments are welcome. If you think I'm nuts, then feel free to tell me so. I'm too old to take offense at much anymore!

Unless your motherboard doesn't have ethernet on it, I wouldn't worry about buying a card for it, imo. Same for sound. Usually they work just as well, and if you need that increase in sound quality, take from your old computer then.

How much are you spending on your PSU? If you're spending about $200-$300 on it, I'd suggest looking at SeaSonic. I've heard nothing but amazing things about them and most of their PSUs fall about that range. You can look their reviews up online, and you'll see what I mean.

Also, don't get conned into buying Cosair's most expensive ram. Kingston's worked fine for me, and I spend about $50 less on average. Make sure it's a good brand, but aside from that, don't pay a premium if you don't have to.

Aside from that, looks like a darn nice build. Wish I had the money to upgrade my i5 to the i5K, but maybe when I get my fulltime job.

Bear your nuts and oh back to the PC build Paul's suggestions are sound forgive the pun as the the board should have built in sound and i used the Corsair Vengeance, Over all the specs Look great and i like the look of the HAF as there is a watercooled version been built on Overclock3D although i have no interest in water cooling i like the build.

Had a look at the Agility vs Vertex and for the price im going for the Agility also even though the Vertex holds the lead i shouldn't notice alot of difference in day to day use.

Sounds like one hell of a PC Bear and it will be blazing fast and i would recomend looking on the OZC forums to see if there are any questions you need answering.

On a side note i wish i had Pauls money
