As for me there is nothing available to push the pc to the limits, it's much snappier than my older one and an SSD like A Guy mentioned in another post is now considered the single best upgrade, as it used to be ram..

I know what you mean Jay. Even though a Revo Drive sounds like it would be awesomely fast, I wonder how much difference I would notice as opposed to my SSD. My opinion is that it probably wouldn't be worth the money to upgrade and I wonder how much of an improvement you would notice by upgrading to an SSD from your SATA III raid configuration.

If the prices of hard drives don't come down, buying an SSD for new computer won't cost much more.

Oh for sure Buddy. I just had a look at hard drive prices on New Egg and a 1Tb HDD costs almost as much as the OCZ Vertez 120Gb SSD does. Of course, keep in mind that the price per gig of storage space still favors a standard HDD over an SSD by a wide margin.

Very few people need that speed, it's more of an obsession. I didn't need an SSD, and wouldn't have gotten one as soon if someone didn't give one to me. It's great, and I'm glad I have it. But I have many nano seconds, and saving a few isn't a necessity

    I resemble that remark!

But seriuosly, computers are a hobby for me and I enjoy trying to get the best performance possible out of them.

I have been in his "computer room" and he isn't kidding about the "hobby" part.
