    I can usually fix the problem, but images are the ultimate fix for me. Rarely have reinstalled. A Guy

    Glad to hear I am not the only one who spends hours trying to sort out a problem. At the end of the day all the people who do this can actually help others to sort out their problems quicker because somewhere someone has experienced exactly the same problem as you have.

    Same here A Guy. Thank goodness I have plenty of HDD storage space, because I have system images created by two different programs. I may be just a wee bit anal, but....

    Me too. Acronis and Paragon Drive Backup. Have restored from Acronis, never tried from the Paragon yet

    For me its Easeus Todo 3.0 Work Station, which I won in a giveaway, and Windows System Image. I have restored from both of them and they performed flawlessly. What I like about Easeus though, is it will restore to dissimilar hardware.

    I use both Windows System Image and Acronis True Image WD Addition, which is free for Western Digital HDD's. They both do really good jobs.
